Zeus lives on the island of Crete, cared for by the nymphs chosen by his mother and tutored in the ways of weapons by his mother's chosen guards, the Kouretes. His life is carefree until he learns the stories the nymphs have told him are real, not tales recounted to persuade him to behave. He would like nothing more than to rescue his siblings and see to the end of his father's rule, but he needs allies and a plan before he can start a war with the Titans.
