WRITA WRITES AND READS contains more than 50 new stories and recollections, as well as dozens of vintage photos from a long and amusing life spent mostly in New Jersey, Maryland and Virginia. While none of these tales and images have appeared in print before, all were narrated by Mattia as part of her now-defunct podcast WRITA WRITES AND READS. After completing both this book and the podcast, Mattia mused, "Without listeners and readers, our stories are never really told at all."
