This book is an overly-dramatic story full of Mary-Sues, angtsy thirty-year-olds, vampires, construction workers, omnipotent beings and an exaggerated love story. It is satire for the vampire cliche while also breaking away from the stereotype: a female vampire, a self- centered main character, under- developed background characters, and the generic features of a goth.
