Christians, including the authors who have been mistakenly indoctrinated over the years to believe in and practice tithe-paying, may find it excruciatingly difficult to accept the biblically revelatory truth about tithing. This "newly-discovered" biblical truth that contradicts the misleading doctrinal teaching(s) on tithing may be very upsetting and offensive to some, and difficult to accept by others due to the spiritual and mental struggle involved in accepting and changing our thinking and practice. The challenge for us, as faithful Christians, is to discover the truth and rid ourselves of the guilt-ridden feelings imposed upon us through the consistent reading of Malachi 3:8-10, and let the Spirit of God guide our decisions in reference to the financial support we contribute to His church.
