All of this falls within the metaphysical department of the affections or of the emotions. The third department is that of ethics - the practical question of conduct between man and man; of good conduct and of bad conduct. As such, this belongs, not to the department of science, but to the department of applied science in a large sense, or that to which arts pertain.
