Jude is a middle-aged professor at a middling university who has an uncanny connection with characters outside his reality. When his world suddenly descends into chaos, his unique talents are called upon to help save humanity, or at least guide it through the end times. Unsure what role fate requires of him, Jude sets off on his journey across the multiverse, hoping to make the best of it and maybe to have a few laughs along the way.
