Jillian McLean, an old friend of Marti Coggins, Dallas Kincade's in-town squeeze, is murdered while attending a ballroom dance competition in Palm Beach. At the request of Jillian's family, Dallas and Jillian's beautiful daughter, Lani, join forces to gather proof that Jillian's professional dance partner and fiance is behind the killing. At first, Dallas considers this activity to be a boondoggle without much chance of success. However, as events unfold, Dallas and his alter ego, The Demon, become personally involved. Then all hell breaks loose!
