This paper aims to present the understanding that family farmers participating in the Paraná Mais Orgânico Program (PMO) have of the SDGs, comparing the goals proposed in the SDGs established here with the narratives given by these farmers. In the field of specificities, the publication aims to ascertain the perceptions that family farmers participating in the PMO have of the SDGs, to verify how these farmers understand the correlations between the SDGs in the midst of organic cultivation and also to publicize the ways in which family farmers through organic planting collaborate with the achievement of the SDGs and the advancement of sustainable rural development. The proposal is based on the Theory of Dialogic Action and the technique of analyzing narratives, which shows that family farmers, through the PMO, correlate their organic cultivation practices with the proposed SDGs, as well as affirming their importance for sustainable rural development.
