In August of 1961 Charlton Comics released a two issue adaptation of the Danish monster movie Reptilicus. In January of 1962, for the third issue, the creature was slightly revamped and the title was renamed REPTISAURUS. REPTISAURUS would last until issue #8. REPTISAURUS
would also appear in the twelfth issue of the Charlton monster series GORGO. The art for the series was created by various Charlton stalwarts including Bill Molno, Vince Alascia, Joe Sinnott,
Sal Gentile, Vince Colletta and Rocco Mastroserio.
