The mysterious Mel suddenly appears in a tranquil village, where she participates in an auction and wins a cottage full of local history. This throws a wrench in Adam’s plans; he intended to win the cottage for his friends. There’s no way such a gorgeous woman would make her home in a rural village. She’ll want to get rid of the cottage soon enough. When he gets close to Mel to get a feel for her situation, he sees that she’s not at all what he thought: she’s a humble, honest woman.
