Patricia didn't think she would survive losing her adult son to addiction, but she did and put into words what families need to know to deal with the horrors of substance abuse disorder. The Last Stop won an Honorable Mention in the Readers' Favorite 2022 Award Contest in the nonfiction category of Grief/Hardship. Patricia lives in Alexandria with her husband and terrier pup, Benji. In 2021, she was blessed with a beautiful grandson.
