The Journal of International Security Affairs, a semi-annual, scholarly journal, is a forum for new thinking on a broad range of foreign affairs and global security issues affecting the United States and its allies abroad. Journal essays often challenge the conventional wisdom surrounding U.S. and international security policy successes, failures, myths and opportunities that are found in traditional media sources. In addition to cutting-edge articles written by top experts in their fields, The Albert and Ethel Herzstein Charitable Foundation underwrites “The Herzstein Military Forum” under whose banner an article authored by either an active duty or retired military officer appears in each issue of The Journal. Each issue contains articles, interviews, and book reviews.
