The lascivious and mendacious politician James Fetherington believes that he can successfully keep his double-dealing securely under wraps when he teams up with Secretary of State Gregory Tranter. James, however, soon falls prey to the insidious and convoluted manoeuvres of Calendula Fortescue-Bligh and Barrington Flint of the Medici Squadron who mischievously worm their way into his psyche.
