Off in the lowlands of Geogia, John Slater is sent to collect data on the saltmashes. What he finds he cannot be put into a data base but he finds it must be documented just as well. He stumbles across an Inn and meets the salty and ammusing characters, not only of the Inn, but also of the surrounding area. His is a road less traveled.
