From 1957-1965 the TV series Wagon Train told the tales of brave pioneers who traversed the country, heading west, protected and guided by the wagon-master and his trusty partner. The series was based on the films Wagon Master (1950)
and The Big Trail (1930). It was notable not only for its long run, but that it switched networks for Seasons 6-8 and switched from black & white to color and back again. The comic ran for 13 issues. First in Four Color Comics #895, 971 and
