Issue #38 of Green Hornet Comics had a dramatic shift with the contents of the backup features. Gone were the Spirit of '76 and the Blond Bomber. While issue
#38 had a transitional set of stories, with the likes of Shock Gibson and Kid Adonis,
issue #39 featured Mary Worth, Stuntman and Dotty Dripple. Issues #40-42 kept
Mary Worth and Dotty Dripple.
Of course, all the issues centered around the exploits of the Green Hornet and Kato with most, if not all of the art for those stories by Al Avison

All the books in this series are also available in hard cover and BLACK & WHITE
editions
