A witty professor embarks on a quest through time and space seeking to change his past for the better, but finding himself alone hundreds of years in the future, with no idea of how he got there, or memories of his past. Only a note as his guide, he wanders about the wasteland, encountering the leftover residue of society and its newly formed creatures. All the while falling in love with a beautiful woman and teaming up with the last human faction left standing. As they struggel to fight the remnants of the old world, which are creating monsters and preserving the last remanining species in a bizarre way. This is one man's story of redemption in a broken world.
