The Catskills in the Ice Age: Third Edition, Revised and Expanded in Bloomington, MN

Two resident science professors take the reader on a tour of the Catskills and show the evidence of the half-mile-high glacier that crushed and ground the mountains and forests 20,000 years ago, and which then melted, sending immense torrents of water that formed the picturesque cloves and waterfalls of today's Catskills, creating the landscape that inspired the Hudson River School painters.
