Bob Benton is THE BLACK TERROR, and his sidekick Tim (yes, that's right, a sidekick named Timmy - I laughed, too) were known as THE TERROR TWINS.
Benton got his super-powers from "formic ethers" derived from red ants while he was working on a formula to help people feeling run down. THE BLACK
TERROR did his part in the Second World War and continued fighting crime once it ended. THE BLACK TERROR had three great comics runs: 31 issues of
America's Best Comics, 60 issues in Exciting Comics, and 27 Issues of his own titles. This volume collects the first nine issues of the Black Terror's series.
