They learn to trust one another and themselves, as they move deeper into the investigation and start uncovering layers that will eventually lead to his capture.
This is a good, solid police procedural crime novel that takes the reader behind the scenes, from the police officers' perspective. We sense the urgency as time starts to run out and more people die. The author has written a thrilling, tightly-plotted story that keeps the reader's nose firmly between the pages. The team is engaging and grows within the novel; makes one want to read the next book featuring this dedicated bunch.
