This is Volume II of The Robert Service Series of his poetry. It contains 33 titles, among which are The Call of the Wild, The Shooting of Dan McGrew, The Cremation of Sam McGee and The Call of the Wild. It was through these poems in particular that Canada and the rest of the world learned of the hardship and deplorable conditions which the Gold Rush prospectors endured.
