On its sophomore outing, ROYAL FAMILY - DIVORCE, the 11-member Icelandic ensemble Storsveit Nix Noltes presents an intriguing set of instrumental indie rock rooted in the folk traditions of the Balkans. Featuring a number of luminaries from the Reykjavik music scene, including Kristin Anna Valtysdottir (aka Kria Brekkan), SNN manages to capture the raucous energy of its concerts on these tracks, as evinced on the lively "Krivo Sadovsko Horo."
