Recorded in 1979, this somewhat goofy album is an oddity in the
Wakeman
catalog. The music is mostly electro-pop, reminiscent in parts of
the Buggles
. Unusually,
actually sings, in a serviceable but not strong voice, on three tracks:
"I'm So Straight I'm a Weirdo,"
"Maybe '80," and "Do You Believe in Fairies?" ("Weirdo" and "Fairies" were released as a single, with limited success.) The remainder is instrumental and not up to
Wakeman's
