Charli Jones has never had an easy life. She never knew her father, and her mother was a drunk who died when she was only three. Her life was filled with parties, drugs, and alcohol. She pushed herself to the brink of death. Until she became a vampire.... unfortunately, that's another story. This story is about how Charli overcomes losing her family and herself. How she puts every one of her feelings aside for those she cares about, despite her protests that would suggest otherwise. Charli works with someone who once tried to kill her mere weeks after she became a vampire, to save his pack and the pack that left her behind in hopes that maybe she'll be able to find herself again along the way. The road is long, and it's the hardest path she's walked in her very long life. But with the help of some new friends, and unexpected alias - Charli is shown that there is more to life than risking your own.
