'PREPARING TO PREACH' is the second book in a series known as "Practical Pastoring: Mentoring Growth" by Kevin J. Barsotti. Kevin was called to be the Pastor to a small nondenominational church in Havre, Montana. Learning how to be a Pastor without formal training left him unprepared for the day-to-day tasks. The former pastor of the church wrote him many letters to help him as he undertook a profession totally out of his realm of expertise. Kevin has combined the letters of the senior pastor with his 20 years of experience to provide the same leadership and support to new pastors wanting to be successful as they shepherd their own congregation. He has written this book in obedience to the Holy Spirit in order to help others who desire to be the church and expand the kingdom.
