Today there is an understanding in the South Caucasus that it is necessary to create a regional community. Turkey has positive relations with Iran, Azerbaijan with Iran and Russia. And yet, the key trends of the next few years may be the reduction of Russia's role and, on the contrary, the strengthening of Turkey's and Iran's positions. Naturally, the increased presence of Turkey and Iran will be at the expense of Russia, not the West. Tehran also intends to protect its interests and share of geopolitical influence in the South Caucasus. The above configuration in the long term poses a threat to the countries of the region and is a factor of destabilization of the South Caucasus.
