Author Tanisha Thompson is back with her second installment entitled, Poems From a Black Girl Volume II: Depression. Even though it contains new poems, it continues to explore some of the same topics and content that readers enjoyed in her first book. While this volume does carry a similar tone to its predecessor, this time around the poems focus more on themes of loss, failure, self-reflection, and most notably, depression.
