The highly successful duo of the sometimes deputy U. S. Marshals Ned Bayne and CJ Robertson have returned to Peaceful Valley and their successful RB Horse Ranch in the Ozark hills of Missouri. Their experiences in Texas and their new status as family men have given them concern over living their lives as lawmen. They are older now and have been through a lot. Family ties are now important to them. They have decided it is time to turn in their badges and devote their lives to their families and making the RB Ranch successful--but can they?
