Trembling with fear, I visited the oncologist, and after a battery of tests, it was confirmed that I was a cancer patient. Wow, I thought to myself, my death warrant is signed and sealed but not yet delivered. My preparation for death had begun, and for the very first time, it dawned on me that death was not too far away. The first step in this preparation was to fight death and fight it with all ammunition at my disposal.
