KID MONTANA began publication by Charlton Comics with issue #9, taking over the numbering sequence from DAVY CROCKETT. KID MONTANA would last forty-two western action filled issues.
There is terrific artwork by the Charlton stable of talents including Rocco "Rocke" Mastroserio,
Bill Molno, Dick Giordano, Vince Alascia and Pete Morisi.
Kid Montana rode the northern plains of the old west battling cattle barons, rustlers,
gunslingers, bank robbers, kidnappers, corrupt Indian agents and a variety of other western villains. He would save the town, the farmer's daughter, her son and the day and do it with a smile and panache.
This book is available in both hardcover and trade paperback editions as well as in full color or black & white
