JJ and Clyde are best friends. They both like swimming and basketball and eating cherries and seeing who can spit the pits the farthest. They also like reading The Calming Adventures of Arthur and Gerard. But when the boys find that the school board has banned those books, calling them a "dangerous influence," JJ and Clyde decide to take action.
