In this book, the background and the cause of Alzheimer's disease is discussed together with the description of the brain parts that are affected. In addition to the risk factors described, ways to reduce the risk of having the disease are suggested. Mind-body connection is investigated and future studies and methodologies are proposed to better understand the mechanisms of the disease, which will hopefully lead to the appropriate preventive treatment.
