How Long Was Jesus Christ the Tomb

Was Jesus Christ three days and three nights in the tomb? We know that He was buried about sunset on the day He was crucified. And from the scriptures we know He claimed He would be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth, the same time as Jonah was three days and three nights in the belly of the great fish. So if Jesus was to rise from the grave after this time frame, which was the only sign that He would give to the Pharisees and Sadducees, Then what day and hour did He rise from the dead?
