HAUNTED was one of the pantheon of Charlton horror titles that appeared in 1971, after the Comic Book Code Authority slightly loosened their grip on the terror genre. Readers were now treated to all the trepidation and fear, but none of the gore that was rampant in the horror comics of the fifties. Haunted is also a treasure trove of artwork by Charlton champions Steve Ditko and Pat Boyette, with many of the scripts written by Joe Gill. The series lasted for a total of seventy-five issues, the first seven of which are reprinted here for both your fright and delight.
