Sue Saloon goes through the grief of losing her mother. She learns to deal with her loss through the bond she builds with her father. He helps Sue to deal with her grief by doing the things she loved to do with her mother. This reminds Sue that although her mother may not be close by, she will always be in Sue's heart and her memories of her mother will live on forever.
