In this derivative, slow, gory horror film badly directed by Herb Freed, a young, long-distance runner dies while she is on the track. One by one her friends are murdered in unusual and bloody ways. Coach Michaels (Christopher George) decides to investigate as the body count mounts. Graduation Day, despite its gore, is not particularly frightening or suspenseful and is yet another needless rip-off of the Friday the 13th series, but without any of its originality or inventiveness. This film will interest only the most die-hard gore fans.
