Godmersham Park in Bloomington, MN

January 1804, Anne Sharp arrives in Godmersham Park to work as a governess. She does not have experience, but her mother died, and she needs a place to live. Her pupil, 12-year-old Fanny Austen, is new and exciting. One false move and she could be let go. When the sisters and the mother of Edward Austen come to visit, she befriends Jane. During this time, even the lady of the house realizes how competent and intelligent Anne is. Meanwhile, Henry Austen, Jane's brother, begins to develop an interest in the young governess. Could her days be numbered?
