A federal prisoner named Lucas Brewster escapes prison in 1910, with the aid of his cousin Myrna. He goes back to his home county to hide out with a new name and new look. But the house he is hiding in is haunted by Indian ghosts. He sets up his crooked business once again. U.S. marshals John T. Wayne and Blaine and Shelly Newcomb are assigned to stop the crime spree in Brewster's county, and find out who is behind the Flukey Luke gang.
