Widowed at a young age, Martha Cooley has kept to herself for far too long. She admired Crystal Springs baker from afar, and they even got together once. Pressure from the town matchmaker became unbearable, and the two called it off. Unassuming baker, Joel Evans has loved Martha for as long as he can remember.
