In ancient times the First King saved the people of Eiddam from a dark enemy and, before fading into the legend, he gifted them the Gift. With the Gift people could withstand any enemy, but soon they began to forget the true nature of the Gift. Years later, the Masters of Gifts are the only ones who still know about the Gift. Lumen is the youngest Master of Gifts when Amethyst finds him and becomes his apprentice.
