Let's face it, no one wants to talk about cancer. But chances are you know someone that's either engaged in battle with cancer or someone who's fought alongside a loved one who has. Those may even describe you. This is a story about my wife Nanci, and her courageous battle with one of the most difficult cancers for a woman to fight: ovarian cancer. Nanci's story is unique, as it is for everyone with this disease. You may see similarities, but it still won't be the same as anyone else. This is Nanci's story, and I'll tell you from the outset that it's not all fun and games. I'll tell you right now, don't read this story for the ending. It's not that kind of story. It's a story about the fight, not the finish. It's a story about the faith that sustains us in the fight, not the outcome.
