Margaret and Uncle John have just sent Basil and Susan D., his Cousin Anthony’s children home to their father for the summer, and they’re feeling kind of lonely, so they invite a bunch of people to stay including her Cousin Peggy. Also staying in the neighborhood for the summer is Peggy’s friend Grace Wolfe. She lives nearby and is the paid companion of a crabby woman who enjoys getting attention from the idea that she is an invalid. Grace has an interesting and quite humorous way of dealing with and trying to cure her cranky charge. An amusing story of friendship and fun. Illustrated. I hope you enjoy this book.
