Erick and Stacy, who met on a gaming app in "Love on the Internet," and fell in love, are now married for two years and living in Houston, Texas. He's a successful novelist with three best-selling books, and she's working as a forensic lab technician, her dream job. Life is unbelievably terrific for them. Erick's sold the movie rights to his first book, Love on the Internet. However, the producer isn't happy with the current screenplay and entices Erick to Hollywood to help his writers, Steve Lucas, and Alex Crais. Together with Erick's help, they put new energy into the writing and also the actors, Sharon Gillespie, and Kevin Langford. Erick begins working with Sharon Gillespie, more closely than Stacy would prefer, especially with Sharon going through a divorce. Sharon's soon to be ex-husband begins a campaign to smear her career and shatter Erick's and Stacy's marriage. Erick is anxious to finish the screenplay and get back to Stacy who has given him an ultimatum because of the romantic rumors surrounding him and Sharon. Erick confronts Sharon's soon to be ex-husband, a fight takes place which leaves Erick in the hospital for several days. He finally arrives home only to find Stacy unconscious in a hospital bed. Erick takes the hand of the woman his heart loves more than life itself; the tears begin. Was the allure of Hollywood and fame worth all the pain Erick brought to his precious Stacy?
