Ducks, Birds, and Me

Have you ever seen a group of ducks playing, swimming in a pond, with a mother and her babies all in a row? When it rains, people use raincoats and umbrellas and boots to cover their shoes. Do ducks need raincoats and umbrellas? Do you ever wonder whether a bird's nest is like your house? When you go to sleep, you lie in your bed and hear a story. Do the birds have a bed and a story to hear? Do they go on vacations and have fun? This illustrated children's story presents two poems that share questions and thoughts from a young child about ducks and birds.
