Camel is a hoofed animal that belongs to Camulus genus. The Arabian camel has one hump while the Bactrian camel has two humps. Arabian camels are native to the arid desert regions of West Asia while Bactrian camels are native to Central and East Asia. It is also called the ship of the desert.
