Carl, an only child to a single mother, was poor and had few friends. One day, Carl caught sight of a most spectacular set of drums! More than anything in the world, he wanted a set of his very own! He didn't know how to drum, nor did his mother have money for a drum set, but that didn't stop him from pursuing his dream.
