In 1952, after twenty-four issues, Lev Gleason Publications decided to change the title of their romance comic BOY MEETS GIRL to BOY LOVES GIRL. The name change also came with a slight change of tone. The characters portrayed were more mature and there were sordid tales of relationships gone bad rather than the challenges of new relationships. The high quality of the art remained constant through the title change. There was still lots of great art by Fred Kida, Bob Fujitani and Dick Rockwell. Even Agnes Holmes Advice column continued into the new title. BOY LOVES GIRL successfully continued and even improved upon the high bar of artistic standards set by its preceding series. THIS BOOK IS AVAILABLE IN BOTH HARDCOVER AND TRADE PAPERBACK AS WELL AS IN FULL COLOR OR GLORIOUS BLACK & WHITE.
