This modern-day horror novel is set in southern Pennsylvania, where Arson Investigator Finch Kendrick and Police Detective Pete Thomson investigate a series of murders. At first, the murders appear to be copycat killings of witchcraft-related murders committed decades before. As Finch and Pete dig deeper, however, they realize that something far more sinister is afoot.
