My maiden name was Annie Elizabeth Hopewell. At some point in my young life I became known as Nancy Hopewell. In 1948 I married and became Nancy Meller.I have spent all of my life in and around the Nottingham area. For the first 22 years I lived with my family at various addresses in Arnold. Since getting married I have lived at Basford, Sherwood, Chilwell, Long Eaton and Gedling, but I've always considered Arnold to be my real home.This book covers some of the more memorable incidents.
