Not much information on this condition but I did all the research I could find pertaining to this problem. Armpit boils can be caused by a condition called 'hidradenitis suppurativa', which affects about 1–4% of the population. In fact, if you've had boils in your armpit on more than five occasions, it is very likely to be hidradenitis.
